INDITEX

Inditex is one of the world's largest fashion retailers, with eight brands (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe) selling in 202 markets through its online platform or its over 7,000 stores in 96 markets.

They have come a long way since 1963, when they started out as a small family business in a workshop making women’s clothing.

Over the years, their size may have changed, but one underlying idea has stayed the same – the customer is at the centre of everything they do.

Inditex has a management model based on innovation and flexibility. The first Zara store opened in 1975 in La Coruña (Spain) and today there are 7,490 stores. In 2017, the group's got revenues for 25,336 million euros and today it has 174,386 employees.

Inditex's shares have been listed on the Madrid stock exchange since 2001 and are included in blue chip stock indices such as the Ibex 35, FTSE Eurotop 100 and the Eurostoxx 600.
